Is it possible to have a dangling object connected to two independent points?

Hi everyone

I have this puppet who has a gold chain connected to both its shoulders. I want each end of it to move along with each arm and dangle in the middle, without warping or breaking.

I've tried using magnets, but that makes the whole thing go crazy, and I suspect it's because of those leafy gold objects that are also connected to the arms by magnets and have a physics behavior with dynamic and collide.

Is there a proper way to get this done, or some cheating workaround?

This is the puppet:

This is the chain not responding to the dragged arm:

Hope my question was clear.

Much appreciated!

Translated Japanese into English with translation software.
It is a very difficult task.
I also want to know how to solve it.

If you don't have to use dangles, there is a way to make the chains work with the arm movements.
However, it is a bit deformed.
I made a sample puppet.

I hope this method will help you.

Thanks Oshiro San 🙂

I ended up using your method, it will be good enough for now.

I do think it's a function that should be added to the software, it can be useful and hopefully not too hard to code in, but what do I know.

If you ever come up with a better way to do it, without warping, that would be great.

Thanks again!
