I have a character that is sitting at a desk staring strait at their side. See below image. All I want him to do is lean forward in his chair. I've been using Character Animator for a few months now, and this has stumped me. No matter what I do, he just won't do it. Either his head and arms doesn't move with the body or both the desk and chair rotate with him. If I put a draggable point, it bends and warps pixels all weird. It seems like this would be super simple but how would you rig him to simple lean forward while still mainting funtionalality of head nodes and arm movements. I have the hands and head working nicely but if I want movement in that torso, everything just goes crazy.
Any help is appreciated.

Can you share a screenshot of the rigging hierarchy?
If the body is moving but the arms and head do not move with it, it is usually an indication that things are not attached correctly.
If they are attached, the next trick is to move the body without the whole arms moving (if torso rotates forwards, the arms move with it). You can you achieve this using a dragger on the hand. A dragger will keep the hand in position relative to the scene instead of relative to the parent layer in the puppet, which is useful in this case. (Err, I think, I have not check recently, but that is what I remember.) So first step work out why things are flying apart, then solve the next problem.
