Left and Right Profile Views for Legs and Arms ONLY

Does anybody else want this? This would simplify puppets a great deal. Rather than multiple body eyes heads, etc. the legs and arms should be able to have multiple views. Can this be done already? I might be missing something but every time I try this setup, the character doesn't work at all.
