Hi, I got a question, is it possible to live stream and make transitions between pre recorded performances with audio and normal live performances with a puppet? Anyone has an idea how this could be done?

Yes, but not inside character animator. Use a free package like OBS Studio with the NDI plugin installed. There are commercial packages too (but no advice on how good they are). Basically treat CH output as one of multiple video streams and use a separate software package to switch between the streams, layer them, etc. (And get a powerful PC - it can be cpu intensive!)

Sure! This is where our triggers are very flexible. You can put any animation that's in the timeline into a trigger, including audio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZioGOAt8RE&ab_channel=OkaySamurai
So setup a Swap Set with your animations as triggers, then make sure to create a trigger that you can use for live use that doesn't have any animations referenced. This trigger basically just tells the puppet to look at the live inputs. You'll probably want that as the default trigger.
Let me know if you need any additional explanation

Oops! Yes, Dan is correct of course. I mixed this with an external video stream, not pre-recorded inside Ch!!!
