Neck to follw Head

Hi,

I'm making a character and the head is independent.  I like the  way the head can rotate.  But the neck doesn't react the same way it does when the head is dependent.

What I want is for the head to slightly rotate (as it does naturally as in independent mode) but I want the neck to follow the origin of the head without warping the head to match.   Is that possible.   Put another way, I want the neck to follow the head as it would as a dependent but without warping and allowing the head to tilt.

Independent layers will never move their parents, so to get a "bit" of movement, one approach is to create a fake head at the top of the neck behind the real head, and have two Face behaviors with different head movement strength settings - one to control the independent head, the other to control the "fake" head at the top of the neck (with lower strength). (The fake head might need layers like a real head to get the behavior to find it, but does not need real artwork. I sometimes put a small circle there so it never sticks out behind the real head artwork.)

Thanks, that is an interesting approach.  I'm using magnets on the head to neck, then neck to torso.  It's working...but a bit unpredictable and limited control.  I'll try your method and see if it does the trick and/or maybe a combo of the two.
