prerecorded triggered body animation

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way to key trigger body animations?

Like a prerecorded performance like the character raise his arms for victory, throwing an object, dance, put his hands in front of his mouth....

The goal would be to have the normal live animation coupled with some fancy animations that has been recorded in advance.

Thanks

Yep - you'd want triggered cycle layers animations. See https://youtu.be/NvyviQg1NwA?t=7m52s for an example of this (the arm raising up to hold the fireball). You can't triggered recorded takes (yet).
