Program Not Responding (nothing working...)

Hello, I have recently installed Character Animator.

When I opened it (I could open a project) nothing could be clicked. It would immediately say "not responding" and the blue spinning wheel would pop up.

I tried to install an older version and the same thing happened....am I missing something?

After Effects/Premiere work perfectly. I literally can't click on anything. 😕
