Hi ! I habitually finds all my solutions by myself, but this time, I dont understand what's happening.. tried so many thing to make the pupils works. The pupils wont move at all. After tagging Left pupil, Left pupil size, Left pupil Range. Nothing moves at all. (Blink works, Eyebrows works too). I can send my puppet file to help you understand my problem.
I downloaded the puppet. Did you use something other than Photoshop to create the puppet? While programs like Procreate can export PSD files, Character Animator has problems interpreting them. I opened the original and resaved it in Photoshop. I fixed the mouth swap set and added body, limb IK, and motion library behaviors. I also added an eye gaze behavior to the head. I did remove a few of the layers that didn't seem to be doing anything, you might need to put those back in. Here is a link to

Character Animator still processes anything that is in that frame, even the hidden layers. After cropping, the mesh outline fit the art instead of being a large rectangle. I cannot say if that in fact was the case, since I see in the screenshot you shared above that the mesh outline matched the eye shape. It has been my experience that Character Animator can sometimes

There are several things that can prevent the pupil from moving. The most common is that there is not enough room for the object to move. I cannot tell from your screenshot if there is sufficient space in they eyeball layer to allow the pupil free movement. Another thing to check would be the setting of the Eye Gaze properties. If I am having problems getting the pupils to move, I will switch the input over to Keyboard Input just to rule out any issues with camera tracking.

Would it be possible to share a screenshot of the rigging hierarchy for the puppet's face? I'd like to confirm that the layers for the eyes are set up properly.

Left Pupil Range is the eyeball ( already tried name it Whites, Eyeball, Left Eyeball ) none of these worked.
Each layer is well tagged (like another CH ANIM puppet)

I'm not doubting you, I can only go by the information you've share thus far. I do see that you have a layer labeled as AltMouth that is not part of the Mouth swap set. You need to have a single layer that contains both of the mouth sets for it to work correctly. There's a possibility that this error is keeping the rest of the puppet from functioning properly.

Interesting. I don't believe I've seen that one before. Let me know where you found it and I'll see if I can troubleshoot it on my end.

No, I mean, I took the layers format from a genuine puppet.. then replaced the images with my own puppet image.

Oh, that makes sense. Could you export the puppet and upload it to a file sharing service like drop box or google drive? Then share the link her or in a direct message and I will take a look at it.

Hi, wow ! I'm very impressed, you got it ! A big thanks 😉 But now i'm looking on what I did wrong. Yeah I started doing it with Procreate like you said. (easy to draw with a iPencil on a iPad). I would really like to understand the solution for my future drawings for them to work on CH after importing it. I have Photoshop 2025. When I first opened my design I did what you said ( Exported from Procreate in PSD , then open in Photoshop, then save as.) After, I Imported it in CH 2025, and thats where it was not working.. Even after rigging it well.

I cannot say if that in fact was the case, since I see in the screenshot you shared above that the mesh outline matched the eye shape. It has been my experience that Character Animator can sometimes be finicky and some unrelated factor can disrupt everything.
Nevertheless, it's still a good practice to trim unused content from your files before importing them into Character Animator.

A big thanks ! You own it man. So much appreciated. I'll try doing another puppet to practice and help me understand solutions for conversion between programs.
