Recording problem

Community Beginner ,

After I record my puppet, I change the puppet's eyebrow, eyes, clothes and posture to record another scene. However once I change it, it impacts on the past recording and the appearance of puppet in the past record looks the same as the puppet I just set up now. I lost all the replays and record settings in the past. Is there any way I can keep the past recording setting and make a new scenes?

Did you change the original AI/PSD file?

If you "clone" a puppet, it shares the artwork file still. If you want complete isolation, you can export the puppet and import it into the same or different project. The import makes a complete copy (including a copy of the artwork AI/PSD file). (You can check to see if a file is being shared by single clicking on the puppet and checking the properties panel - the "Path" component identifies the file it is using. When you import you will find the artwork will be in a new "gathered media" directory.
