I had a crash earlier this evening (got a spinning beach ball while using CH, forced-quite to get out of it). When I restarted the app, I kept getting the "attempt to index a nil value" error code. So I restored my entire project folder from a Dropbox backup from a fwe minutes before the crash. But now when I open the project in CH, it only shows saved versions from 3 days ago and earlier!
When I look in my project's Ch Media > Recordings folder, there is a folder full of recordings for today's work... but CH won't recognize them. Is there some way to manually force it to do so? Am I missing something about how CH organizes/recognizes/opens project files?

It's advisable to have your working files not on the cloud, as it causes problems when syncing. Ironic I know, with it being the Creative Cloud and all...
Have you checked your autosaves?

Is it really in the cloud, though? Dropbox is essentially just an online copy of the files that are on my hard drive (i.e., I have 2TB of free space on my internal hard drive, and Dropbox makes a copy of that; it's not like I have 2GB of free space and I'm writing all of my data to the cloud).
Also, what do you mean by autosaves? The autosaves in CH? Or versions/backups elsewhere (Dropbox/Time Machine)?
The ones in the history panel in CH don't exist, at least as far as CH is concerned. It lost every manual and autosave for May 19.
That's the big problem with this type of project save design that Adobe has pursued—unlike in PSD or AI or whatever, you can't *actually* manually save a copy of the project elsewhere and protect against catastrophic failure. None of the autosaves exist outside of the greater project file, so if the project file is dmaged in any way, it appears that any/all of your autosaves may be lost.

I'm not sure how you are using Dropbox to back up your files. Is it happening in realtime or after you've finished a session?
CH constantly saves what you're doing. It sounds like those files have become corrupted, though recovering them is beyond my levels of expertise.
