Swap Set Issue

Hello, I am new to Character Animator, and though I've learned a lot over the past couple of months from online tutorials, I've come across an issue using swap sets.

Here's the problem: When I switch from one facial expression to another using swap sets (which I combine with cycle layers to get to the final facial expression), the default eye brows stays on. Here is a screenshot of the default facial expression:

And here is a screenshot once the swapset has been activated, where you see both the default eyebrow as well as the new eyebrow:

Any help here would be appreciated.

On a separate note, I have another unrelated but similar issue. The character switches from a frontal facing view and an upper facing view using swap sets, also using cycle layers to get to each position. When I hit the key to switch from the frontal facing view to the upper facing view, the layers cycle properly to get to the final upper facing position. However, when I click the same key to get back to the default positon of the frontal facing view, it snaps back to it without cycling through the in-between layers. The Forward & Reverse box is checked off in the Cycle Layers dropdown menu.

A Head & Body Turner behavior is added to the layer base, and I have a Cycle Layer behavior added to the Upward layer. Here is a screenshot showing the Head & Body Turnor behavior:

For the head turn, there are the layers (within individual folders) of Head Turn 1, Head Turn 2, and finally ending on Head Turn 3. Here is a screenshot of it showing the Cycle Layers dropdown menu:

Any help would also be appreciated here. I can provide any further information upon request. Thank you all in advance!

Sorry for the late follow up, I got tied down with work and kids, and I now finally got the time to try toubleshooting. Unfortunately, making everything independent layers/groups did not seem to work. I tried mixing up the ones to make independent too, hoping to find a pattern, but that did not seem to do the trick either.

Thank you for your suggestion, ParmJaiya. I will keep troubleshooting on my own, and I'll post here if I find a solution.
