Timeline freezes at "0" when playback

I created my own character and rigged it in character animator. Everything was doing great. Then I recorded for just a few seconds. But when I tried playing it back, it's just stuck on "0" in the timeline. But when I moved it somewhere in the middle of the recording, it played smoothly. I thought it was just normal. But when I exported it, and played the exported file, it didn't catch the whole recording. What should I do?

Could you share a screenshot of the timeline panel? Each scene has a "duration" which controls how long the export will be, but there is also a "workspace" where you can set the start and end, which overrides the duration of the scene. I am wondering if the workspace end was accidentally set somehow, cause the confusing situation. Hopefully a screenshot will clear this up.

Thank you. What I did was to just created a new scene then made another recording there. It worked but honestly I have no idea what went wrong with the previous one. Maybe what you said was the possible cause. Thanks again. 🙂
