I've tried using the different alpha encoders such as Quicktime/GoPro Cineform RGB 12bit with alpha to export my animation with a transparent background, but my windows computer says it's not supported when I go to watch it. I need to be able to make this animation transparent. Can anyone help?

Be aware not many video *players* support transparency. I often have to load into Premier Pro or similar and layer the video clips to actually be sure transparency is in it. I normally layer all the clips and effects in Prem Pro then finally render to MP4 or similar (without transparency).
