Ok so I'm remaking a puppet in ACA. The original puppet I used had the ability to use magic. in this I took a png of a magic aura and gave it a wave warp effect. Now I cannot use this effect in character animator. Should I just use it in after effects or is there a way I can simulate it?

one idea I had was to make a looping gif with a trasparent bg, import the frames in photoshop and then use a cycle layers behavior.

what do you think?

I'm not good at English. I used "translation software"
I don't know if you understand your question properly.

But I will answer in my own way.

I think your method is a very good idea.

In the case of I

STEP1 adobe After Effects → add wave warp effects

STEP2 abobe Media encoder → Export as PNG sequence

STEP3 adobe Character Animator → Import PNG sequence in cycle layer

I am working on the process.

Thank you
