Why does my character stretch?

The first 2 images are from my character with the frontal headshot only. The 3rd image (with the frontal and quarter view angles) shows how my character looks when I move my head. I'm trying to figure out why this ones stretches and the other one doesn't (which it shouldn't). Both characters have the same settings in Ch. Animator and in Illustrator.

Nevermind, I just removed the Head layer and it worked.

Hi, I haven't made any characters in a while and don't have any for sale right now. Did you want one who looked just like him? I may have the file still or something similar.

Can you explain that in more detail, I am encountering the same problem with the top of my guy's head stretching while the lower half stays fused to the body. I have three head versions (front, left, and right quarter) for turning and each one is it's own folder under the head folder, Are you saying I should remove the main head folder/layer and import the puppet with three separate head folders/layers?

I'm having trouble visualizing your hierarchy for your puppet. Would it be possible to take a screenshot of the rigging for the head poses and posting them here?

Sometimes if you turn on the yellow mesh icon (under image) you see yellow triangles all over the face - this can help identify what is not moving causing stretching (e.g. maybe the nose). It can help track down the source of problems sometimes.
