Sorry to hear that!

Character Animator uses the Windows webcam drivers, so you need to figure out if your camera is being made available to Windows as a webcam.

A good test for this is to use the built-in Windows "Camera" app.  When you launch the Camera app, can you see your camera video?

Hi, I am facing this problem, the Camera app doesn't detect the EOS Utility either, is there a way to make this work?

Use the CANON webcam utility (the final/latest release),

this version makes the camera visible as a built-in camera/webcam on windows -- which makes it selectable in just about any app which requires camera access on windows now

Unfortunately DSLR "webcams" aren't officially supported right now.  They may or may not work with Character Animator, depending on how their driver was implemented.  We are working on plans to support more devices in the future.

For now, your best option is to use one of the supported webcams like Logitech.
