Cannot Edit Kaufman Puppet

I downloaded the Kaufman puppet and am trying to edit the color of his t-shirt and horns. However, I'm not able to change the colors of any part of the puppet. It seems I can only move elements around or make them smaller and larger. Is there a way to edit Kaufman's colors?

You need to use "Edit Original" from the menu to bring up Photoshop or Illustrator on the artwork file. From there you can do anything those programs allow. (I suspect you are inside CH still - it just allows moving things around, not editing the artwork file.)

Thanks for the reply, alank99101739. I actually did choose "Edit Original" and Kaufman opened in Adobe Illustrator. I then used the Direct Selection arrow in AI to select his arm but I wasn't able to select just the purple portion of his arm. When I use the Direct Selection tool on his arm the sleeve, arm and hand is selected as one unit/piece and I cannot change the color of any part of that unit. Any additional suggestions?

Sorry, that is more of an Illustrator question than a Character Animator question. I only know the basics of Illustrator. Maybe someone else can jump in with instructions. (I will try to have a look when I get some free time otherwise - I need to dig up that puppet and try it directly.)
