CH Slowing...

I am noticing some slowing down with the CH app-

I am doing multiple videos using the same puppet setup, so to start a new project what i am doing is a Save As of my finished project, then deleting all the audio, scenes, etc, to maintain all my rigging and work on my puppet. Currently I am getting beach balls with every click in the UI. I was thinking maybe my methodology was increasing the file size of my project with each Save As, but Finder shows my project file at zero bytes.

Any insights?

TIA

The project file is not where the contents is. Its in the directories next to it. I would suggest exporting the puppets and importing into a new project when you want to start a new project. CH keeps an undo history which gets bigger and bigger, but there is also lots of caches etc around the place. Exporting the puppet and importing into a new project I think is the cleanest way to start fresh.
