Character Animator webcam issue

I have a user that just updated to Character Animator 1.1 full version. OS X Sierra.

The Logitech USB camera that is installed is not functioning in CA. The camera constantly flickers and sometimes does not produce video or audio at all. The camera functions as normal in other apps like Skype and Facetime. Tried 2 different USB cameras with same results. No driver updates from Logitech.

Any suggestions?
