Hi All
Any ideas what could be causing this?
My characters receiving the audio fine, the mouth is moving, its mirrored onto the tv perfectly, but no audio from the live stream.
What makes it frustrating is that character animator is playing recorded audio, as is everything else, but no audio when live streaming ![]()
Was planning on using this tomorrow so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Rob
Is this via NDI? I don’t think CH outputs the audio on NDI for some strange reason. So I had to use something else to get audio into OBS.
In my case, I feed the mic into Adobe Audition to do nosie reduction, then send the output to “virtual cable”. This also inserts delay into the audio stream. I then get OBS to listen to virtual cable PLUS get CH to listen to virtual cable. (Hmmm, not at computer, cannot remember if CH listened directly to mic...). I then use NDI to feed video output from CH int

I then use NDI to feed video output from CH into OBS separate to the audio. (OBS you can add multiple sources.) I think I also added a delay to the video in OBS to get it back in alignment with the audio (because of the Audition noise reduction processing delay).
If you don’t get it working I will try and get some time on the computer and write down exactly what I do. I don’t recall where I got virtual cable from (I might have bought it for like $10). It really helped gluing all the parts together For me.

Yeah in the end i gave up and just recorded a few phrases i could rattle off by scrolling through to their diff points in the timeline haha.
It was meant to be a live interaction with the public, had a tv screen mounted on my friends food stall... went well for what limited i could interact atleast ha.
I had my mbp plugged into a tv which was set as a second screen using a hdmi cable. I'm assuming i was using Mercury transmit, as i did exactly what the tuts said to do, so frustrating the audio doesn't output! there's basically no options to fiddle with either haha.
it played the audio i recorded fine inside CH, just not the livestream audio.
So basically i have to run the audio through a separate program and output it parallel to the CH video stream?
