Hi everyone! I don't have a webcam but i have a sony a6300 DSLR that works just fine, i managed to set it as a virtual camera with OBS and the Virtual Camera pluginand it works on discord (i'm guessing it will work in any other videocalls apps) my issue comes when i try to add a webcam in Character Animator and it doesnt find any webcam. I press the little webcam icon, it turns blue as long is i keep it pressed, and turns back grey as i stop pressing it. I wouldn't mind spending 20 bucks on a cheapo webcam but it bothers me a bit having an expensive, goodlooking camera that works everywhere but Adobe Character Animator, any help?
Excuse my english and thank you so much.

To clarify, you're asking about using the Virtual Camera plugin from OBS in Character Animator, not using the Sony as a webcam directly? I think you can use the Sony directly: https://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app/webcam/en/download/
In the meantime, I'll confirm whether or not OBS's virtual camera works in CH.

I have a sonya6400 its connected to my computer using a elgato cam link.
I had this problem too but I fixed it by going into my cameras hdmi settings and changing the resolution from 4k to 1080p. It worked immeditly.
