Weird elbow and arm bending behavior when recording a replay trigger

My character when trying to record a replay trigger does this weird bend to his elbow/wrist/arm when transitioning from rest to waving. It looks like the elbow is just flapping around and flipping over.

This is the resting position

I tried to play around with the settings but still cannot fix this issue.

Could you provide a screenshot of the rigging hierarchy and the arm layer showing where sticks are for the bones in the arm etc? That is a pretty wiggly arm!

I sort of figured out the issue. I had a different resting position and when transitioning between the two, this would cause that weird wiggly arm bend that you see in the photos. If I was transitioning from my basic stationary position, this wiggling issue would not be present.

I ended up having to spend a bit of time trying to blend between the two arm positions to reduce that weird wiggling motion.
