Create navigation bar on top of full screen video

Hello, I have a full screen video that runs when you click on my page.  But I want to put a navigation bar on top of the video. When I tried it, it pushed the video down and made the navigation bar on the top. I would like the bar to be at the top and on top of the video. How do I write the code to do such thing. The below is a screenshot of my video. I want the nav bar to run across. Thanks in advance for your help.
