I am running the 2023 Server Auto-Lockdown on one of my sites.  When running, it seemed fairly slow, but not horrible.  But it took multiple minutes.

Now the Auto-Lockdown tool is at 100% (20 minutes), but it still has a message saying, 'Installing... App pool created!' and the bar is at 100%.

The last bits of the log are above.  Evidently the tool is very proud of creating the App pool...but doesn't seem to move on from that.

Is there a way to check if the necessary changes have been made?  I need to run this on 5 other sites, just wanting to make sure it is actually doing something.

Thanks!

I have 2 suggestions:

  1. Take note of this excerpt from the CF2021 Lockdown Guide
    BKBK_0-1693038752333.png
  2. Examine the other logs. Particularly, server.log, coldfusion-out.log, coldfusion-error.log and exception.log. They should give you an indication of how the lockdown went. If they're free of errors, then no news will likely mean good news.
