Safari can’t open the page “ http://127.0.0.1:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm” because it could not connect to the server “127.0.0.1”.

If you mention as Safari is not working I assume that IE or FF works.

Is that correct? 🙂

I'm having the same problem. I just upgraded to a MacBook Pro running the latest OS (Leopard) 10.5.2

I see there are several others having similar problems. Anyone here have some advice?

I tried starting CF from the Mac terminal and it says it's running. Here is where I got the instructions on that.

I know CF has to do something when it launches the administrator for the first time but I cant get past this either. It just hangs up.

Most of the other problems I am seeing have to do with folks installing the multi server function but a few are 'standalone' folks like me.
