I have been trying to downoload the Builder from the linke https://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion-builder/download-trial/try.html, but I am just sent do a "Get Started" page, and nothing downloads.
I have been in contact with customer support via the chat for four days and no progress has been made. When I said the product was ColdFusion Buiilder, I was connected to the photography department.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can make progress?
You're not alone. There is a solution. See my post:

Let us know if that works for you. I hope someday someone from Adobe just fixes the damn problem.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Coldfusion forum so that proper help can be offered.

Thanks very much Charlie. I read your article, cleared the cookies and changed to Edge (which I never normally used). After accepting I was downlaoding files which are not secure, the downloading started and CF Builder is now installed,

I had the same problem, but found a different solution. I am using Chrome (the company's officially sanctioned browser). I opened up the dev tools, to see what the errors had to say (screenshot follows).
The problem is that the Adobe site is using SSL - https, naturally. But the link to the actual EXE file is unencrypted (ie, http://), and Chrome really gets upset and blocks the content when you mix and match on a page, esp. when the resource being retrieved is an EXE.
So I copied the URL out of the error message, and pasted in a new browser window, and voila.
I went looking for a form to send the info into Support, but no such luck. Oh well.

Thanks for sharing that. Bummer to hear of it. As for where to file a bug report, use tracker.adobe.com. For more, see a blog post I did just this week:
