CF 9 errors Mac OS X

New Here ,
Dec 09, 2009 Dec 09, 2009

I running a clean install of CF 9 on Snow Leopard. I have a co-worker running an upgrade install from CF 8 to CF9 also on Snow Leopard. We both experience missing template errors when the templates are not actually missing. This error can appear on the first CF page accessed after the computer has been turned on, or it may occur after navigating through several web pages. The only fix is to restart ColdFusion.

Also CF 9 will occasionally error on attempting to connect to a remote database. The fix for this is refreshing the page. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a fix?

I received the same missing template issue today, and a restart of the server fixed it for me as well. I initially tried changing the permissions on the templates to 777, clearing the template cache, and setting the cache to 0. I'm guessing that something in the coldfusion runtime directories is getting monkeyed.  I hope to see it again, now that your post helped me get up and running again.

thanks,
