CF9 Air Server Manager

Is anybody using the new AIR based server manager?

Happily?

I am playing with it for the first time today.  I am hopeful it lives up to its marketing.  We manager many CF server instances across several servers.  I really like the idea of seeing all the servers main settings in one place and be able to compare and migrate settings between development, quality assurance, and production servers.

But setting up my first servers has not been terrible confidence building.

I downloaded and installed the AIR application to my workstation.  I started connecting the AIR Server Manager tool to the four ColdFusion CF9 server instances on our Windows 2003 development server.  The first three connected just fine.  But when I went to connect the forth one, the little server box in the Server Manager UI started blinking wildly between the yellow, exclamation point, warning symbol and the red, circle with slash unconnected symbol.  I kept blinking "Unsupported Version or Edition".  I then deleted that connection to the last server instance and tried to build it again.  Same results.  I then deleted it and stopped and started the AIR Server Manager tool.  When it restarted all the ColdFusion servers on the Windows 2003 box started this behavior.  Even the three that previously connected just fine.

Can anybody give some insight on what this is about?

Well it looks like this maybe some type of intermitant problem.  For reasons that may or may not be related, I ended up restarting my worksation.  Afterwords the one connection I still had left appears to be working correctly.  I will now attempt to connect to all the other servers.  But I would still like some idea of what the problem may have been.
