Hello forum!
We have a customer who has installed CF9 (under Solaris 10, Sparc, 64-bit) and chose "Developer Edition" when installing.
The information on the "System Information" screen was:
Edition: Developer
Serial Number: Developer
The customer now bought a valid license for the Standard Edition and installed the new license key via the "System Information" screen on the admin console. CF9 was restarted afterwards.
The information on the "System Information" screen now says:
Edition: Developer
Serial Number: [xxxxxxxxxxxx]
Shouldn't the edition now say "Standard"? Or is it possible at all to change the edition after the initial installation?
Thanks for any ideas!
Daniel

Hello Andy
Oh my... but thanks for your answer! That could explain it, yes... funnily there are also Adobe sites which claim there is such a thing:

We'll see what the Adobe support will say... thanks for your help, Andy!
Regards
Daniel

I agree that that definitely gives the impression CF Std is supported on Solaris. You've probably got a reasonable case there.
