Look.. I get it.. I've been a developer for 19 years, now. I know that to a computer, 1 = true = yes, they are all the same from a boolean point of view. But from a string perspective, they are not. So, when I create a switch/case statement to evaluate a URL parameter, <cfcase value="true,yes" delimiters=","> should be valid. I should not get an error message that "cfswitch has a duplicate cfcase for value 1.0". A user might use ?myparam=true or ?myparam=yes. (This is to trigger an update event, btw.)
And what is with the "Email me when someone replies" defaulting to checked??? I went into settings to disable this and it's apparently not working. I'm sick and tired of getting home from work to see five hundred emails from Adobe telling me that someone replied to a thread I'm participating in.
