CFMAIL stopped working

Explorer ,
Nov 04, 2008 Nov 04, 2008
I have numerous CFMAIL tags on the website. Generally, about 100 messages are sent per day. Approximately five days ago, mail stopped being sent. When you send mail, no CF errors occur.

I've checked the "Verify mail server connection box" in the CFAdministrator. It returns the message "Connection Verification Successful." Yet, when I check the MailSent log file, I don't find any reference to messages sent.
Any ideas? THANKS so much in advance.

Sometimes webhosts start to enforce more stringent cfmail requirements, like:
-- from address must be in the mail server domain
-- must have username and password in cfmail tag
These don't produce errors, they just don't send mail. Check with your webhost/server people

Thank you for replying. We had to wait to end of business day to reboot the server. Once rebooted, the stored mail processed. I will keep your words of wisdom on file for future glitches.

Hello, I saw your posting on adobe coldfusion forums the other day regarding CFMail stop working. Have you figured it out? And if so could you share the experience with me by email me back? Thank you in advance!
