Change editor font size in CF Builder 2016

I already posted over on superuser, but thought I'd post here as well.  In CFB 2016 trying to edit Window > Properties > General > Appearance > Colors and Fonts > Basic > Text Font doesn't seem to work. Anyone see the same thing and/or have a workaround? In CFB 3 the exact same thing opened a dialog that let you change the font.  Here, it just spins for a half-second and does nothing.

I just tried that but my path is Windows>Preferences, not Windows>Properties.  The rest is the same.  After I click on Text Font, which is the last choice under Basic for me, I click the Edit button at the top on the right.  That brings up a dialog box called Font.  In the Size list on the right, I changed it from 10 to 16 and then click OK.  The dialog box closes.  In the colors and Fonts dialog, I click Apply near the bottom right.  I can see the change take place immediately.  I then click ok to close the Preferences dialog.  The font is clearly larger and much more readable.  Thanks for asking.  I was searching for this solution and came upon you question.  I know it has been a year, but if you found a solution, please post it.  All I usually do when it does something like that is close everything, reopen CFB and try again.  If that doesn't work, reboot and try again.

FWIW, I can confirm the same.

As for the original post (from 2018), I notice that the superuser link they offered now gets a notfound error. Perhaps they removed their question there, if they realized ultlimately that there was some explanation for their problem which was not about the steps being followed (which as you say, were correct). And then maybe they were unable to delete their question here (it was in the old Jive forums software, not what we use today here). But glad their observation helped you in your need to change the font. 🙂
