Code for a simple line break?

Anyone know the syntax for a line break for data that is being displayed in notepad file:

<CFCONTENT type="application/txt">

can't you just put <br /> in there?

if not, a Chr(10) should work.

Since it is a text file, the <br/> and chr(10) just display on the output and don't work. The chr(10) works in excel, but not in notepad.

#Chr(10)# is LF which is only half of the end of line marker that windows uses. Try using #Chr(13)##Chr(10)# which is CRLF
