ColdFusion 11 on MAC -- installing update results CFServer not working

When installing the latest server update for CF11 on MAC, the CFServer stops working.  The message show in the CMD prompt is

The ColdFusion 11 server is starting up and will be available shortly.

There has been an error starting ColdFusion 11 server, please check the logs.

However no logging takes place.

Adobe helped resolve this issue.

In my cfusion11/cfusion/bin/jvm.config file the java.home variable was referencing a the MAC's JVM.  I reset it to look at the JVM installation within coldfusion at cfusion11/jre/Contents/Home/jre/ and that resolved the problem.
