I am locking down a new CF 2023 installation using the autolockdown application but am getting an error when I enter the administrator credentials which I have triple-checked as being correct. I saw another post in the Adobe community where the solution was to install some packages in the admin, but everything is already installed as I used the GUI installer.

Oh, and I have used a very basic password with no special characters so the other cause I found wouldn't apply either.

To be honest, I don't know what is causing that. I would suggest you reset the ColdFusion Administrator password.
Use the following steps, for example:

I reset the admin password several times with progressively simpler passwords, ending up with all lowercase alphabet characters, to no avail. I'm going to just do the manual lockdown which is unfornunate.

I'm encountering the same issue. did anyone find a solution to this issue yet?
I too have CONFIRMED that the passord is correct and even changed it to a simpler one.
Please advise anyone?

I never found a solution. I ended up having to lock down manually.

Thanks. I was afraid of that.
