Coldfusion 9.0 using over 9GB of disk space

I have an install of Coldfusion Standard 9.0, it's been working great except for a year later I noticed the disk space usage over 9GB.  I thought the software only required 500 MB of disk space? Please offer any suggestions to reduce the disk space used, it appears most of the space is used by the runtime directory in the ColdFusion directory.

Thanks!
Tony

It does indeed require about 500MB, have you tried looking at what the actual files taking up the space are?

I'm guessing they're the logfiles in runtime\logs.
