ColdFusion Builder

New to ColdFusion:

Instead of adding a new server, how do I point to an existing server(I may not understand what it is doing as well, I come from a full Microsoft Dev Background)? There is an existing Virtual Server running:

1. Apache2.2

2. ColdFusion 8

3. JAVA JRE 1.6

I am wanting to create new projects on my local maching and use the exisitng server to how the web conntent

I don't really understand what youre asking for...

I would think that making a new folder in your CF Web Root and placing your new code there would suffice.
