Could not connect to JRun server

New Here ,
Nov 30, 2009 Nov 30, 2009

Running ColdFusion 8 on Solaris 10 with a Netscape web server, and with no changes to our configuration, we started getting, "Could not connect to JRun server or invalid web server configuration for JRun".

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting this error?

Thanks for any help.

So is there a jrun process in the task list?

I'm not sure.  We haven't made any changes to any files.  Could it be a port issue?  We have an external agency who administers port security.  They have made changes and not notified anyone.

Let's start at the neginning. Log on to your server and check whether the jrun process you are trying to reach is even started. If it is, check on which port it is running. Then try to connect to that port from localhost, then from a remote machine.
