does cfinsert take away need for cfqueryparam

Do cfinsert and cfupdate take away the need for using cfqueryparams ?

Last time I checked (admittedly this was a number of years ago), CFINSERT and CFUPDATE were not parameterised.  I dunno if they are now.  You're probably in a good position to check for yourself (and report back) I reckon.

I would purposely *not* use cfupdate and cfinsert because they don't support queryparams.
