Error creating the directory D:\JRun4\lib\wsconfig\1-512

OS: Windows Server 2008

ColdFusion 8.0.1 Enterprise edition

I get the above error when I try to add a site to an instance of CF. The system has 511 sites and I have plenty of computer power so I'd like to add another 511 sites if possible.

Is there an upper limit on the number of websites that can be added to the Enterprise Edition? It seems silly to have to buy another machine and another CF license just to add another site but is that what's happening?

What are the limits on ColdFusion?

JC

NONE, beyond CPU and MEMORYthat of which I am aware for number of websites creted.

But, I admit that 512 is a rather suspecious number.

I wonder if there is some Operating System hickup about the directory name "1-512"

Hmm, I'd thought maybe (although it seemed a little low) that it might have been a maximum number of directories in NTFS or something, but I just created a folder with 520 folders inside, so it's not that in case anyone was wondering.
