Failed uninstall - replacing corrupted datasource files

Hello all -

The cfm files in my /cfusion/wwwroot/CFIDE/administrator/datasources folder have become corrupted, apparently at the time of a failed uninstall of update 11.  Are clean copies of these files "one size fits all" or are they modified even by relatively standard installations?  Is there a safe place to find replacements for these?

Thank you

Before trying to cobble together such a solution, since you say the update install failed, are you saying you attempted it again and the files are still "corrupted"? That seems the wiser course--even if you need to uninstall and reinstall the update.

BTW, what do you mean by corrupted? I've not heard of that happening to anyone. Is it the entire folder? and only that? And what update did you come from?

Finally, there's no place offering the files as may have been put in place by the cumulative updates, no. But you could download and do the cf zip "install", extracting it to some folder other than the current cf install, then update that (it would have its own admin, on its own port). Then you could copy that set of cf files in that folder you want. It's unorthodox, but could work.

Or perhaps someone will offer another solution.
