Flash not displayed in cf8

I have developed an application and use flash (swf) as a banner. The problem is the swf object not being displayed at browser (ie6 and ie 7) if i'm using CF8 but it display if i'm using cf 7.

Is your CFIDE virtual directory properly mapped and accessible?

for cf8, i'm using built in web server (port 8500). i dont know where to check the CFIDE virtual directory wheter it is properly mapped and accessible

Sorry, I can't advise you there. I have never used the built-in web
server, port 8500 or otherwise. I would presume that the built-in
server would understand the needs of ColdFusion, but I have no idea of
the details.

It must be there if you have the default installation.

Do you generate this swf file via CF? If yes, how?

Have you updated yourt Flash version into one of the latest one?
