Example of 1 I looked for:
ftp://ftp.allaire.com/kbftp/coldFusion/50/hotfixes/23150/iepatch.zip

Not just this one but several. Are the patches "Hot Fix for Windows" on the ftp.allaire.com site just gone, too old, etc. or is site gone?

Since Allaire was bought by Macromedia, and then Macromedia was bought by Adobe, I would imagine that this site is long gone.

Take a look here: ColdFusion Hot Fixes (version 5 and earlier).

Thanks for the reply. The link you suggested is where I have been. I am successful in getting "Hot Fix" from there which seem to point to kb.adobe.com however many of the "Hot Fix for Windows" links still appear to go or try to go to the ftp.allaire.com site.
Maybe the last purchaser should update the links. I know I am using an older version but for DR reasons I need to keep it that way.
Any other ideas, as you seem to have been on here for some time now?

To my knowledge, they haven't been supporting CF 5 for some time, so the fact that they post anything on their sites for these older versions I view as a bonus. (We never used CF5, as we went directly from 4.5 right to 6, then 7.) Sorry that I don't have any other suggestions.

Good luck.

we had an application developed in cf5 and it was a joke (ok the developer was a joker) it always seemed to crash and the sessions even when locked seemed to screw up. Get rid of cf5 move on cf8 is awesome
