FWIW, I had not heard of any hibachi framework before your mention here, and a search for it finds only a cursory reference to it as an orm/hibernate framework, found on a single page at the slatwall cf e-commerce framework site. But then searching for hibachi and hibernate or or finds nothing more.

So help us out: is that your understanding of what hibachi is? And are you saying you too find nothing else on it? Perhaps it no longer exists.

More specifically, tell us why are you wanting to use it, and whether you have considered other options (such as cf's built-in orm support, which has evolved since its original inclusion, in cf9 I think). Maybe we can help more there.

Hi lekkalah

You've probably come to the wrong forum. The HIBACHI that I am aware of has no relation to ColdFusion. Unless of course you wish to use ColdFusion to implement a HIBACHI simulation.

Suppose you have the following hierarchy in a group of organisms: C0 => C1 => C2 => C3 => ..., where => stands for "is a parent of". There is great interest in the fields of Genetics and Biology to understand how genotypes and phenotypes are passed down along the hierarchy. In particular, what the effects are of gene-gene interactions and mutations.

The genotypes and phenotypes can be represented as a tree structure. With many branches possible at each node, the number of possibilities becomes large after just a few generations.

With the emergence of high-powered computers, researchers are now looking for ways to combine artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling and big-data analysis to study these hierarchies. The HIBACHI Framework is one such approach (HIBACHI="Heuristic Identification of Biological Architectures for simulating Complex Hierarchical genetic Interactions").
