How do I uninstall a ColdFusion patch?

I was sent a patch to solve a particular problem, which I installed.  Then I was sent another patch and told to uninstall the first one and install this one instead.  How do I uninstall the first patch?  I see no uninstaller.jar in the hf-updates directory for the first patch I installed.

Thanks.  -bg

Assuming the new hf*.jar file is named the same as the old, just replace it--where you'd been told to put the old file, which should be the lib/updates folder of your cfusion or other instance(s). Don't touch any chf*.jar there.

Thanks, Charlie!

It is named the same as the old.  The support guy threw me when he said
to uninstall the previous one before installing the new one...  -bg

Hi,

In my entire email, I did not mention "uninstall". I asked you to replace the old file with new one which I shared.

If you need steps to follow, I can share that with you.

Thanks,
