Hi, I just start with ColdFusion, and it is because I need it for my work, engineering studies, which will be written in Adobe Flash Builder (Flex), ColdFusion 9, ColdFusion Builder and MySQL.

I have a question, how to configure ColdFusion to my applications written in Adobe Flash Builder and ColdFusion Builder, were tested using the ColdFusion 9, but not on localhost only on the server where I have hosting, ftp server and my web page.

Hi Maria

Your question is still really really vague. There are just to many options and ifs to answer you question.  You also never mentioned what OS you are wanting to use or what type of web server you want to use Cold Fusion with.

Apart from that installing on localhost is pretty straight forward.

You will also find heaps of information using google.

You didnt state what type of engineering you are studying, but if its software engineering then you shouldn't find this too difficult with some skim reading.

I installed and configured ColdFusion 9 with XAMPP - apache.

I have a  question how to set the port (don't work http://localhost:8500) when you add a new server. I do not know  how to configure the ColdFusion Builder, when I add a new server under  the heading "Local Server Settings" where you must enter a SERVER HOME  and path, and then in the DOCUMENT ROOT - what are the settings for  XAMPP - apache.
