I have a problem with Adobe ColdFusion Server Manager when you log on and connect to the server. An advantage of the settings do not load.

Do you see that at the right end of the line listing your server, there are 3 icons, the 3rd with an exclamation point? That means there were errors in communication between the Server Manager and the server you're trying to monitor. Click on that and see what it says.

Something is blocking and doesn't want the Adobe ColdFusion Server Manager to download all the settings at the bottom it shows.

Well, rather than leave it at "something is blocking", please share the details of the message showing in that errors pane of the Server Manager. Let's not guess at things, but instead find and follow the evidence.

Well, Carl, the fact that it displays the settings (on the left) is one thing. The yellow indicator does mean a real problem of communications has happened between the Server Manager and your CF server. It may be affecting its display of the details (using the icon to the left of that one) where it would show things like how many requests are running, are queued, etc. You should check out the error detail page and see if it says anything you may feel you can do something about.

When I see others screen cuts of CF Server Manager here:

http://www.coldfusionjedi.com/index.cfm/2009/10/21/Quick-example-of-Diff-within-the-ColdFusion-Serve...

http://forta.com/blog/index.cfm/2009/7/6/Simplified-ColdFusion-Server-Management

the Errors View button display’s the yellow ! sign. Without a better guide I just thought that is a normal button icon until I noticed Charlie comment earlier in the thread and I thought hold up that is not normal.

As it is when I press Errors View I get “no error” which might be because there is none or just simply not giving meaningful details as per some other CF Server Manager limitations previously noticed in other threads on forum here.

I just hope some of that helps the original post to do with the display of the settings on left side. Maybe a better look at the error might help? Does anything get logged in CFadmin UI > Debugging & Logging > Log Files that relates to issue?

Regards, Carl.
