Hi,
We planned to upgrade our ColdFusion9 version to ColdFusion2016. During installation, at 76% the process is not at all moving further. I am breaking my head with this silly issue. Tried reinstalling by quieting the current installation but was no luck. And one more point, before reinstalling again i tried to uninstall but it was throwing a fatal application error: "This Application has Unexpectedly Quit. Invocation of this Java Application has caused an Invocation TargetException". Please help me. Any suggestions are accepted.
OS of the machine is Windows server 2008, 32-bit.
RAM 4GB.
Previous version of ColdFusion is ColdFusion9.
Note that i am following the Adobe ColdFusion (2016 release) Migration guide.

There will be a log file on your desktop, I think. I would recommend looking for the last entry in there. Also, make sure the account you're using is an administrator, even if you don't explicitly "run as admin".
I would really recommend going to a new 64-bit machine with 8+GB RAM.

Thank you so much Dave for the suggestions/recommendations.
I kept the installation for couple of hours, and it got completed successfully. Didn't know how that happened. Somehow i got rid of that problem.
Thanks again for your quick reply.
Regards,
Revati.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no longer an Adobe-authorized ColdFusion exam available.
