Did you test the Windows updates in a lab environment before
applying them
to the production server?
You should be able to just reinstall Verity; it doesn't take
very long, and
it's probably less intrusive than having the errors.
One can download the installer from the Adobe site... I don't
have the URL
to hand, but in the past when I've needed it I've just used
Google to
search the Adobe site (it's more reliable than Adobe's own
site search).
