I am running Coldfusion 8, on a windows 2003 server, 4 gigs
of ram and plenty of disk space.. Actually this is happening on 2
servers, they are identical.
Last Wed we installed a number of Microsoft patches, and
shortly thereafter we started receiving "FILE IN USE" errors.
I have rebooted these machines, killed and restarted
coldfusion services, etc. many times already, with no effect.
We rely on cffile very heavily to do a lot of things.
APPENDS, WRITES, MOVES, etc...
"The cause of this exception was:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: ....... (The process cannot access
the file because it is being used by another process). "
These errors NEVER happened before. Now all of a sudden I am
getting "FILE IN USE" on all these CFFILE processes. Randomly. A
lot of times the process works just fine, but now alot of times it
doesn't.
Since we are working with CF8, I tried switching to the new
file functions, this doesn't seem to help either.
Anyone with any help would GREATLY be appreciated.
